corsas are the only good gum clinchers i know of, and ive heard people say theyre like tissue paper so i definitely get where youre coming from on a practical level but im nicer than a lot of other people in here, lol |

Poorly staged, over cooked the flash… whatever. I'm not sure I'll keep the Thompson post, and have the Ti post on the way. Kind of like it, kind of want a different look too. Also, I'm pretty sure I'll slam the stem, but since I can't put weight on my left arm yet, this is the most comfortable on the trainer.

That said, I normally prefer color to solid black, but there's something about this kind of plain black and blue on a bike that just totally turns me off. Desperately needs some white. And as bowed frames go, this one isn't too bad. |

But then I crashed and broke the R3SL. I got a new bike, fixed the R3SL, and stopped caring so much. |

OP has outstanding taste in equipment: R3SL (one of the orig WW frames), swapped-out Wolf fork for Enve, SR11, Enve wheelset, ZG brakes, etc. Would love to see some boutique-y cables and housings here, too. |

I do think its a is a good looking bike, however I am not a fan of the silver stem nor the gold cables. As for the seatpost, I'd go Ti, I had one on my Lynskey and it looked really good, but the black works as well.
Everything screams hot aside from the stem really... I did did fix the housing at the rear dérailleur, as well as the b tension. Looks a lot better to me. I'm tempted to leave the Thomson alone for now, since my seat is perfect. https://farm1.staticflickr.com/761/2...a9a8395f_c.jpgLynskey R240 by silversx80, on Flickr and at different angles. https://farm6.staticflickr.com/5831/...2d3ee048_c.jpgLynskey R240 by silversx80, on Flickr https://farm6.staticflickr.com/5810/...6abbe507_c.jpgLynskey R240 by silversx80, on Flickr |
I'd do a black stem to match the seatpost, personally.

I agree. Remember 2ndGen? His GF painted his Enve decals black. That's what I wanted to do. And the old black stealth wheel decals looked better.

Nice, but RD cable is a bit loopy. Looks like it could catch on something.
Yeah, I noticed it after the pic and fixed it. Needed to adjust b tension so I could get a 90° insertion. Was able to trim about 4". Still a bit long, but much nicer. https://farm1.staticflickr.com/761/2...a9a8395f_c.jpgLynskey R240 by silversx80, on Flickr |
