I agree. Also the brake cable routing and location does not do it for me aesthetically.

Mumonkan 10-20-15 01:23 AM

i find it hilarious that they spent all this money in a windtunnel and cad modeling to build up those covers/fins on the brake calipers, then the rear has a cable just dangling out in the open

my first thought is I dont want to show up in a race riding it if I'm not sure about a 1st,2nd or 3rd finish. that thing looks fast standing still

Of all the aero bike that were release recently I'm voting on the Canyon Aeroad or the Madone for aesthetics.

Beautiful bike. Ok, so threaded head set and use of an adapter. I would use a silver stem to be consistent with the rest of the silver on the bike. Love that color. A close friend has the same vintage but in the cobalt blue.

It needs a bar end cap on the right side.

Hot. But I personally prefer less deep wheels on a frame with classic geometry.

In other words, I'm afraid, "not."

The more I look at this the more it disgusts me.

not a fan of the orange bar tape. Have always thought the Giant seat mast is so weird looking with the way it tapers down. As long as you are happy with it thats all that matters but it is nothing that catches my eye.

needs a setback seatpost to offset the short nose Power saddle
is the rear hub also purple?

Nope. It needs a silver -17 degree stem.

okay if you're going for the silver look, but doesn't it bother you that the saddle is way forward, creating a funny gap between the rail and top of post

Zero offset would be better, but I can live with what he has. A black seatpost would force me to steal the bike, so it could receive proper attention.

I haven't been able to find a 15mm setback titanium post, so I just have it slammed back on the rails. Back end of the saddle is actually in the same place as my romin evo, it just looks weirder because its so short.

Yes both hubs are pink in this photo, but I've gotten new wheels since.

Decided to add a little color to the Tarmac. Gotta love Plastidip.
