Why not? It's plastic dip. Peel it right off. Just wanted to put some color on it.

sweet baby jeebus no. I DO love plastidip, however the blue does not look good in my personal opinion. I can understand a small stripe maybe but the entire thing looks out of place. If you wanted to add color, you should have thought about that before you bought an all black bike. Your seatpost setback also looks like it is too much and would be better off with a zero offset.

i get what you were going for, however i think the approach ridley took with the matchy -matchy ffork/rear seat/chainstays is one that you might find works better. at least, i do.

I knew Ide get some raised eyebrows on here with that lol.

I'm gonna let it ride for a few weeks then peel it off. ;)

You should use a background with better contrast.

Sharp looking bike.

Should have done the whole frame.

I like it. Not sure that it is hot but I like it. Also a huge fan of Plasti Dip here as well.

SpeshulEd 12-03-15 12:09 PM

How does plastidip work on the carbon frames? Any issues? I did a few things on my truck years ago and was quite pleased with how they turned out. Have thought about doing my bike, but it seems like a bit of a hassle to pull it all apart just to spray it and then not like the outcome.

Looks like you tired to make it look like that new allez sprint. Specialized Bicycle Components
I don't care for plastidip but a little color doesn't hurt, maybe do the seat tube as well. Look at the Venge cx1 bike.
Early feedback on Venge Lunch Race?

Or move the seat back and get a shorter stem?

this is not how you adjust fit.

I'm assuming that they didn't get fitted originally ....

mLuMaN83 12-03-15 08:42 PM

I'm currently experimenting with some different positions.

No. as mentioned above, thats not how it works. You would be better off to simply get a zero offset seat post. You dont get a shorter/longer stem to accommodate saddle position.

Are you experimenting whether valve stem caps make you more or less aero also? Lol I kid I kid

Yeah you're right, now that I think about it. But, even with a zero setback, that thing looks like its going to buckle and fall forward ...
