The setup of that bike puts you in a body position that is no more aero than a typical road bike, negating it's purpose.

fell off a roof in college doing a tear off. stem used to be set couple inches below the level of the seat. I am trying to work my way back to a healthy aero position while still riding. Sorry - shouldnt have posted in this thread.

Thanks. I'm new to the forum. I have a lot to learn as I am sure I have been riding incorrectly for years. I just moved to Oklahoma and I found a shop that has been helping me with fit. Lots of 'hot' bikes here!

You aren't going to get more flexible resting on your forearms.

Drop bars allow you to lower your torso by bending your elbows on the hoods, using the drops and eventually bending your elbows on the drops.

If you want to work on flexibility a tt bike isn't a very good platform.

You can post it in here, but you're going to have to take your lumps when you do. And as other's have said, don't take it personally.

There aren't a lot of TT/Tri bikes that get "hots" in here to begin with.

Truthfully though....orange bikes are much better looking than the all black stuff that seems so pervasive nowadays.

Thank you for posting this. My bike will likely be painted over the winter, I was toying with a yellow / orange fade. While I'm sure you like this, I do not. This is now ruled out for my color scheme.

When I started this thread I never meant it to be taken too seriously, and I had absolutely no idea it would go on this long. I've seen people get seriously bent out of shape at times in it which always makes me do a virtual facepalm. :)

Yes, it does make more sense with a person on it, because then you don't notice how heavy and ponderous looking the aerobar contraption is on top of the festive looking frame and the technical looking, brightly metallic wheels and components.

Except for the cable routing through the middle of the top tube. That looks so odd to me.

I thought the routing that goes into the top tube was only for electronic shifting, however, this appears to not be electronic, so I have no idea what that cable is.

Appears that the cables running vertically into the top tube plunge into the downtube to the front and rear mech. Only the rear brake cable runs coaxial to the top tube as evidenced by the cable 2nd from the right in that pic.

Nice! Is that one of the new "power" saddles with the short nose? Also, what bars are you running, I like the shape of that drop.

Yes, it is an SWorks power saddle. Ritchey WCS Logic Curve bars. I love these bars so much. The reach and drop are perfect for me!
