The Ritchie is fire hot in the first pic, the commuter is strangly spicy, approaching hotness. People that don't like gum-wall Challenge rubber would also complain about FMB or Dugast walls.

Don't care. On some bikes it looks proper. On that bike posted, it looks goofy.

I think the point is that on that bike posted, they say "gumwalls are coming back, bruh." :)
My take? The blue on the front is interesting, but is unbalanced, and far goofier in its rebellious way than the gumwalls.

Not. One of the rare occasions I don't like the extra color on the bike. The blue sticks out like you just stole the forks and put them on the bike and the grip tape looks silly. Plus the red and gum walls don't match anything at all.

If I got a new Cannondale I'd have to paint it. Those new CAAD stock paints are absolutely hideous.

I dunno, that John Deere green/yellow Slate is hot as hell.
