Figured I'd post a pic while the bar tape was still fresh. :) I installed the Deda Newton shallow-drop bars and thought I'd try something different w/ the white tape. I also de-stickered the wheels because I wasn't a big fan of the massive white Campagnolo stickers that basically turned the black rims white. The frame lettering and bar tape is already enough white IMO. I'd really like to get some 303s on this thing, but that isn't happening any time soon.

http://i110.photobucket.com/albums/n...whitetape1.jpg I used to miss your caad9 but this update changes everything. Do you still have the bora wheels? If so, quit thinking about 303s and get proper pictures. |

Just washed her. Also, for those that care, stem may drop in the near future. |
That Colnago is nice, but it's white, so a Not in my book. Why white?

To be honest, I have never been a big fan of white frames. My other bikes are red and white (Bottecchia), Celeste-white-black (Bianchi) and orange and black (Cannondale). But the moment that I saw the Colnago in this particular color scheme I HAD to have it. It looks a lot better "in person." The white is so glossy it almost look like the paint is still wet and the black is not really black, it is nekkid carbon. I understand your comments, but remember, white is the new black. :) I think that if you saw this frame in person, you might be smitten--like I was. |
Hot as hell.

I had the rear hub changed out and upgraded to the Smart 4 rim at the same time, so it's technically different since I posted it last year. ;)
http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y1/...nRideReady.jpg HOT. details on the build? Ti frame or Stainless steel? maybe take a red magic permanent marker/paint to the yellow VP one plug on the bebop pedals to give it a tiny red accent? wow... just wow... EDIT: I just wanted to add a picture of my bike to possibly have the first, and probably only, time two bikes that have bebop pedals have been presented sequentially, in this thread: http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7074/7...66df4d05_c.jpg |

http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y1/...nRideReady.jpg Normally I'm not a big fan of panels on Ti frames, but it goes so well with the other black and red bits on this build... awesome... |

http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y1/...nRideReady.jpg My only gripe is the color of the saddle bag, it's removable so "no points deducted". ;) |
