If there was a Hot R Not thread in the recumbent forum, would it be considered rude to post a pic of this (please note it's all BLACK too and not anywhere close to a rolling billboard)...

no white garage door but the green wrist band gives a nice splash of color.

SirHustlerEsq how do you like that wheelset? that whole setup looks wonderful.

Agree should have spent the money on a paint job

Another rube falling for the same bland matte black paint scheme. What a total loser.

lol, I was starting to wonder if we were looking at the same bikes. I'm like, I've read your posts before and you seem coherent, maybe he's seeing something I'm not.

Thanks. I plan to keep this bicycle a decade, then it goes on the wall. The paint already has a ton of chips and **** from using it, but it's all one color and there is lots of paint left over so it's easy to touch up. I can race the thing with more confidence now because I'm not so worried about doing repairs on it and then matching paint, and it's super unique.

I say paint it, get away from the rolling bill-boards. PM me if you need the graphics files.

I absolutely love it. I have a feeling I'll be keeping my EVO for years to come as well, however, I'd still like a new bike again at some point.

I even know a guy that paints carbon bikes (among other things)...so tempting.

My only regret is not getting the 52s. When I bought them, I didn't race bikes and planned on just riding them all the time. They are significantly faster than my training wheels (T-11/CX-Ray/SL-23), would buy again.

Slick looking Ritchey. Love the gumwalls.

The cx is ok but I really dislike the red inner chainring. Also dislike.any front fork that has a bend that bends that direction. They tend to look like they are on backwards to me.

I believe the only brand of blue brake pads are Reynolds, you can get other carbon specific pads that are gray/black. I'm guessing that's whats happening here.

Unless you're saying he should have blue to match the bike.

No fixies here at all, then? Isn't that like a fap forum that limits itself to only blondes?
I'm 191cm, so about 6'3".

Lol. With how you make your statements, you'll fit into the fixed gear forum far better! :roflmao2:

But geared or fixed, it's not hot. :(

People are probably saying that because your seatpost is slammed, which usually means the bike is too big.

arben 08-10-15 01:23 PM

dear lord, i'm 6'1.5 and i feel as if that extra 1.5" you've got on me don't really account for the difference in our head tube heights...

Come on.. you know a 68cm (27 inch) frame is on your short list.

BTW.. Your Cannondale is hot.
