I think being told that only a certain group of people are allowed to buy certain things is one of my bigger pet peeves.

I like it.

It's not ground breaking but a nice luxury feature.

My previous bike has Rival 10 speed and going to Red 22 was a huge improvement. Going to eTap is nice but I could live without it if I couldn't afford it.

Yeah, I'm tossing around the idea of updating my bike and I'm quite intrigued with the etap. So far it seems to be a nice system.

It flat out works. I love the light touch to change gears. Also you can "power shift" by holding the lever and the chain will run up or down the cassette. With a little practice you can change the chainring and cassette with almost no loss of cadence.

Updating the Fuji or the Cannondale?

2006 Bianchi L'una I've had for many years but recently added Brooks Swallow saddle and Brooks bar tape. Yes, I lose points for the bag, mirror and pump but it's my daily driver.

Well, both possibly. The Cannondale would get etap and the fuji could get the ultegra di2 from the cannondale...not sure if I want the hassle of swapping over the di2.

If they were my bikes, I'd leave the Cannondale alone, and give the Fuji a 9000 groupset.

If you like the smooth feel of Shimano, I'd stick with it. 7900/6700/5700 sorta blow, but 9000/6800/5800 work great.

if you put the ENVE wheelset, and mechanical 9000 on the Fuji, I think you might like it more than the Cannondale(as long as it fits you well.

You could use all your old 10-speed stuff for a great commuter/CX bike

I've actually considered painting the Fuji and doing that.

The Fuji has been stuck in the trainer for the last 6 months since I've been zwifting so much. I should swap some things and put it back on the road for a bit.

What kind of Fuji do you have?

pffft, lol @ you for laughing at compact cranks...

you must not climb much... or lie about what and where you climb...

Hey, I'm an old man and I need all the help I can get.

And a light bike does make a difference. The Emonda is 14# and my CX bike is 20# and can feel it when climbing.

This one! Although at the moment, it has a different wheelset and non matching components since it hasn't seen daylight in a while.

What is the blue bike? The logo isn't ringing a bell/I can't read it. The paint is rad- does it always look that way or did you just find a magic camera/light angle? Also, you did a petty good job matching up the cockpit parts and bottle cages.

I really like the bokeh on the picture of the trek

It looks like a specialized allez

Thanks. It's a specialized allez smart weld, I don't like the look of billboard bikes so I made the logos small. Lighting helps for sure but that photo is just a cellphone pic after a 90 mile ride.

Great lines and what could have been a great color scheme ruined by the cluster**** of lettering and logos wrapping around all the tubs this way and that. Also camo bar tape is barf.

Not. Don't care for the wheels, nor that weird stem/headtube concoction. Looks weird. Also if you want to wrap your bars like a track bike, get a track bike.
