I would have gone with a Flite saddle, the rear derailleur cable looks short. Get some cages. Nice blue color. Hot.

Rear der is being run in friction as Syncros are temperamental, cabling is about right. Cages are there, don't show up well in photo I guess.

I wanted white. Finding a good condition Cinelli Volare in white for anything other than mind numbing is a challenge so I picked this up after it showed up locally. Not a fan of black/white transition from saddle to bars either so if it wears on me I'll be swapping white tape/hoods for black.

I like it, but with that heavy group and those wheels, nah, utilitarian black is the right choice. One wouldn't have to go crazy to make it all fancier looking; I think this bike is just begging for the Potenza group with silver tone bits.

For the record, I think these 105 cranks are ugly, but it's all I have right now. They're just so..........dark. No detail whatsoever.

Last modification I'll ever make to this bike before I eventually replace it. New saddle just installed....

^^^^ Nice looking bike. Does this model year not have the sensor cavity in the chainstay?

Nice build, but I couldn't go for the handle bars. I tried flat top bars (Easton EC70) and felt uncomfortable on the climbs because that's where I tend to have them when seated. And those you have a F-L-A-T.

My Émonda SL6... I was about to buy a set of Zipp 202's but the dealer had these Visions for a killer price.

That's true, fortunately, I don't live in a very hilly location.

Doh! I'm partial to monochromatic color schemes.

As a race bike, I rather like it; it's kinda hot. Normally I don't care for that frame style, and even though I generally despise those decals, I think you should have kept them if this bike is just intended for racing; they actually work for you here. But there's a time and a place for everything, and overall, as redfooj was suggesting, it would be sort of cartoonish if it was a bike you took on friendly group rides - even the most spirited ones - or rode around on for general purpose recreation.

slowjamz 07-04-17 05:03 PM

I like that bianchi, I think it would be hot hot hot with black tape and saddle.

Post without decals and a level saddle!

My Tarmac in its latest incarnation. I think the updates from the last time I posted are: Quarq, Wifli, 11-32 cassette, and ee Brakes.

6.8

wheel is a bit too busy
seatpost too industrial, also mismatch with crank and stem
bar funky shaped and yellow is too much

One of the nicer factory bikes, but in this instance the neon on black is a bit too much contrast and same goes for dura-ace chrome on black
