I was having some issues with the front brake consistently moving and rubbing my rim (wheel was true). Front derailleur had to be adjusted almost every damn ride.

It seems I have created some trouble here by posting my Kindhuman... :backpedal: :crash:

No, stupid people with stupid opinions with no basis for their negative opinions did that.
;)

If I've learned anything it's that some people are just going to be salty no matter what is presented to them.

And I am happy to return their salt with vinegar. :D

Cool.
Good argument.
You will now be known as the guy who has no real explanation for why you think this companies name is stupid.
Also the guy whose reading and comprehension skills are poor.

The facepalm is strong in this one. Good, good - let the #41ier flow through you.

It's ironic that the brand of your gorgeous bike brought out the opposite of "kind" in some humans. Way to go people! :crash:

Not being from your country your insult is lost on me.
I am sure it was completely relevant if I was into high school insults.

Keep going I can respond to your dumb comments all day and not raise a sweat.

zatopek 01-03-17 10:00 PM

Your kindhuman is most decidedly hot.

It's actually a very nice looking bike, but the emblazoned name is regretful. The KH decals are much better.

I do agree that the decals could be much more subtle... as a brand ambassador to Kindhuman I made the suggestion for a much cleaner logo. But one can also say it comes damn close to looking like KHS. Aside from the Down tube tag, the bike as a whole is very minimal in terms of branding.

Also the dudes that started the company are good - Kind - Humans

Good call. That's the overall point though - the branding, both name and font size, is about as subtle as an 8lb sledge. The move to KH is good (though BH, not KHS, actually came to mind for me upon seeing the newer logo).

How about we play nice in here? No more insults to each other please. Thanks.

Maelochs 01-03-17 11:48 PM

I like the name---because the earth so desperately needs more kind humans, and we have so very many of the other kind. The script is larger than I would have liked, but that is the modern norm on bike frames---use them as billboards.

In that application the gumwalls look great ... a nice contrast to break up the solid black of the deep rims and tires.

On the whole a very clean and elegant presentation.

nycphotography 01-03-17 11:57 PM

Not a fan of the brand, but if it works for you, the color scheme is working great.

I would think white tires would work better with the white on blue, but I would be wrong. The gumwalls look great.

They are Kashima Carbon tubulars with ceramic hubs.

slowjamz 01-07-17 06:15 PM

KH is pretty HOT.

almost done, pretty happy with the way it looks so far.

It's not done yet, but I'm too cheap to drop $300 on an ENVE seatpost right now, 60mm pink valve stems don't seem to exist, and I need to get the proper spacer to slam the stem farther...so here it is. When I make the updates, I'll post again.

At least their seatposts are prettier than their stems.
The only thing I dont like about your bike is that Enve stem.
It just jars with me.

TimothyH 01-07-17 08:45 PM

I'd rather see a taller steerer and a level stem, or at least a stem which is parallel to the top tube.

Too late for that I guess.
