The best that anyone could hope for is that he goes out and rides the damn bike.

Nice
I think all of those bikes look sharp

I reckon that he could halve the spacers, leave the stem the way it is now and use compact bars for a similar position.
If the bars are compact, there is no way that the variation between tops/hoods and drops can be the same. Why is this so hard to understand? That said, I agree: the stack of spacers is unfortunate. |

point taken, I've always been a bit of a "resto-modder" don't see the point keeping it period unless it's special edition.

clean up the cockpit and i'd say it's HOT. Kinda funky with the stem stacked and bars with huge drop. I'd say flip the stem, cut the tube, get compact bars.
is that a custom finish? BTW those handlebars don't have a huge drop, must be the angle of the pic. |

the groupset is period correct, but those pedals have to go.
Mtb pedals, belong on mountain bikes. Mtb pedals allow for mtb shoes allow for walking off the bike ... which is nice since this bike actually every once in a while does mtb trails ;-) |

Thanks for all your comments, it is nice riding a bike that has people look twice. |

Actually the frame dates to the year 2002 (not 2000 as I wrote one post up). I believe square taper Chorus Carbon came out a couple of years later.

Besides, that crux is kinda becoming my winter training bike at this point because 1) spd winter boots 2) grippy saddle works better with tights and knickers on longer slower endurance rides 3) liking the feel of the 28 tubeless tires on the longer slower more ass on the saddle time base rides. |
Some updates to my bike:
Replaced the Red 22 with Ultegra 6800...why? Because Sram... Got gumwall tires - feeling them out - not sure how I feel about em. http://i68.tinypic.com/24gk70h.jpg |

Great looking bike but the horrible name keeps it from being hot.

Agreed - great build and set up, but the name is a deal breaker.
All horrible names if they had been new to the market recently. We have just gotten used to the stupid names and see them as normal now. |

Once a brand has market recognition, it doesn't really matter what the name is. KHS bikes....knowledge, health and strength. FSA....full speed ahead. 3T....Tecnologia del Tubo Torino. Wilier....W l’Italia liberata e redenta - W-Viva, long live Italy, liberated and redeemed.

Ummmm no. There's a good deal of ambiguity in all of those names whereas "Kindhuman" is so on the nose that it smacks of pandering. Looking at their website, I don't think that it's a coincidence that their DTs are now being emblazoned with "KH" while "Kindhuman" is getting much smaller billing on the TT.
Not in mine at least. Do you know what MOOT means in derogatory Aussie slang? |

Brand names don't matter? Good to know.
 Oh yeah - you're the guy from the tubeless thread. Nvmd. Good argument. You will now be known as the guy who has no real explanation for why you think this companies name is stupid. Also the guy whose reading and comprehension skills are poor. |
