The patterns on the fence overlayed with the striations on the wheels, monochromatic Canyon logo and odd white rotors are all very disconcerting.

The way the pattern on the fence interacts with the shape of the bottle cages is particularly disorienting. I feel dizzy.

I'm unconvinced that there isn't a zebra in the photo somewhere too.

The whole thing needs to be pressure washed and sprayed with Olympic.

Not white - it just looks like light reflecting off of Ultegra rotors with the big cooling fins.

You are correct. They are not white, but a light silver. Dura-Ace ones are black. I don't really like how they look either, however. I'll probably change them out for something else at some point. Those fins are a sail for crosswinds.

More than a bit; aside from the wheels, perhaps, it's the only source of visual interest.

Great bike, but the newer canyons just look odd to me. I think I have narrowed it down to being the proprietary stem they use and headtube. Dont know if you can swap it out for a standard stem or not. The shape of it just looks so blocky to me.

Spot on! Not a fan of the gold (KMC?) chain or red bolts but it's staged well and it's a good looking setup

I don't know about polarizing. Seems pretty conventional to me.
