Submitted for your approval: The frame is a Bikes Direct "Motobecane" titanium job. Motobecane haven't made a bike since 1981, so off came the decals. The company that made the frame is ORA Engineering. The shop is 5 km from my ancestral home and is located in same city where I was born. Obviously, not a stock bike from Bikes Direct. In fact, the only original part is the headset. The wheels are of my own build, sourced from BHS. The saddle looks nose down, but it's actually level. |

https://c1.staticflickr.com/9/8802/1...5272a1f3_b.jpg Here's one with some red on it. I got the frame from a buddy who got it new back in the day. He rode it a couple of times, didn't like it, tore it down, and it sat in his garage for 8 years. I got it from him covered in cobweb and dust. The frame was basically brand new after I cleaned it up. |

Some less eccentric black rings, normal handlebars and plain black tyres and I think it'd be gorgeous. EDIT: So it's the way that you've attached the hoods, and not the bars themselves. My point still stands. |
Your hoods are funny.

But you know what? This may be an exception that proves the rule. That bike actually seems to shine through the bad staging and overburden. |

Haha, it was only like that for 8 days / ~800 miles. We both survived :D
