Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I am the proud owner of a 2009 Orca and I absolutely love it! It is a very stiff frame, but I have had no problems with spending 6-7 hours in the saddle. I am a 27 year old guy who is in pretty good shape and is fairly flexible, so my experience with the bike my not be the same.

Naturally my vote goes for the Orca, but that is only because I own one and have not test rode any other of the bikes mentioned. If you want to best bang for the buck of the bikes listed I would say Orca, if you want something that no one else has then I would say the Parlee, though the S3 would be very rare becuase no one else has had the opportunity to purchase them yet.

Just my 2 cents worth

Thank you everyone for the wonderful insights and great advice. i really appreciate it.

The 09 Orca is at a great price point and it is a beautiful bike. The build quality of the 09 Orca at Get a Grip Cycles was absolutely superb. The frameset is 57% of the cost of the Pinarello Prince frameset.

I did that and road three of the the four - didn't try the Parlee.
How did it go? which did you choose?
