13 pages devoted to not hurting people's feelings on the interweb. Sad, really.

Not exactly, but close.

Someone got a third infraction for that, iirc. Three strikes=seven day vacation.

Many people were certain that the posting did not warrant the punishment.

garysol1 12-02-08 05:29 PM

quick warning guys. In the past 10 minutes I had to delete 4 posts and images due to name calling and curse words. If we want this thread to remain open we need to keep it within the guidelines.

Glad to hear the poor little n00bs have a tough guy like you to help them out.

It always comes back to waving, doesn't it?

Just a note.....We ARE going to treat the "noobs" better then we have. It will be enforced through infractions. There is no reason we can't all give a little respect to the new folks. If you do not want to give them the respect then just ignore them. Not a big deal.

16 pages...

I cannot see why this has gone on this long when it really boils down to a need for all you jocks just taking a little care and attention to be a little nicer to the new members.

You were all newbs once.

And BD - If you keep things up we're gonna have to make you a moderator.

I don't disagree in general, I just don't get why all the sudden outrage. I haven't seen anything lately I thought was bad.

I don't think it has been anything of late but rather... a gradual build up over time and a growing sentiment that enough is enough.

Have you ever notice that very few women post in the road forum or ss/fg ?

Take that as a clear sign that both places tend to be a little inhospitable.
