Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I may have to try some of those. That's 13g lighter than my Extralite/Stronglight combo, plus it matches, and I've heard great things about them. How do you like them?

I also read good things about the CRs so I got them. It came in Black/Silver originally and I painted it using METALCAST (anodized blue). Installed them but no chance to try them out yet (bz holiday schedule). Here's a better picture since the iphone pix where over saturated.

Brooks Pure Cadence shoes (not exactly cycling related, but running helps).

Maui Jim Fleming Beach prescription sunglasses (have to empty the flex spending account), but I am afraid to wear them when riding because how much they cost me.

Truth in advertising, LAS Victory Supreme claimed 260g, weighed 259g. Purchased from Realcyclist.com, very nice to work with there was an issue with my order and they went above and beyond to make sure I wan happy.

I spent north of 400 on my Rx Rudy Project glasses, and I wear them for every ride. Ain't no point in getting them if they won't get used, and for some things, you really do get what you pay for.

Had a nasty crash that destroyed my Giro Atmos. Was considering another Atmos but the Oracle was just so much more comfortable.

Bought a Park Tool pedal wrench on a LBS here in Naples. Swapped my step-dad's pedals for him.
He had a 15mm box wrench but it was an excuse to buy something.
