Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Got a 22 freewheel- 3/32 on ebay for a penny and shipping- light gear for a bike, but a good gear to have on a motorized bike, where it's going.

As for me... I'd like to switch my road-sport bike from 9sp to 10sp, maybe some Tiagra levers and a 105 cassette & chain. But I'm working about 16 hours a week until business picks up (LBS wrench) so it'll be enough of a challenge to just pay my bills for a couple months here.
Thanks for the advice! I'll look into making the change.

Vintage steel. Trek 730 Already swapping some parts on it. This was somebody's race bike back in the 80's. I believe it had full campy Super Record.

Has some Campy Super record and some Suntour Cyclone now. Like to eventually find some Campy Ergo's for it.

My last two pickups are in the back ground.

I've decided to enter the world of CO2 inflation with the Xlab Nanoflator from PBK and the 10-pack of threaded 16g cartridges from Nashbar.

Yeah, about that not buying anymore bike stuff... These are kind of essential though!

Box of Hammer Huckleberry, box of Hammer Raspberry, box of Clif Shot Blok Tropical (I think I meant to order a different flavor...), SRAM Force 11-28 Cassette, 2 CO2's and two tubes. The Honey Stinger gels just weren't filling enough for my longer rides (had to eat one every 20-30 minutes). And the only reason I got sick of Hammers were cause I had last ordered a Chocolate box... Ugh. Tasted a Raspberry, hooked again!

LOL, actually this will be my first products from Williams. Only heard positive reviews about their wheels and have sent many emails with quick replies. Thought I'd give them a try and at least make everything match. Good prices too.

My most recent bicycling purchase is a new bicycle. Just purchased a 2012 Colnago Ace w/Ultegra groupo. It should arrive at the shop tomorrow with pickup on Tuesday. Photos to follow.
