Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Thanks. I just wish I had the extra cash laying around to put some really nice wheels on it. I really like my Ksyrium SL's but would love to put a set of 303's on it.

Trying out a new saddle, Selle Italia X1 Flow. Initial tests seem pretty good, just need to put in some more miles with it. The saddle was pretty cheap compared to some others, but it's still a decent bit lighter than my stock Felt saddle, and only a few grams more than the Flite Flow w/ Ti rails I was previously testing.

Being unemployed I have to watch expenses especially since their not paying unemployment now due to sequester! Fortunately because I was and am such a tightwad I have no personal debt and investments covering me financially. So when it comes to buying something for a hobby that's a want and not a need I have difficult time justifying it. Buttt, yesterday Nashbar had a big sale going on so I broke down and bought this since I always wanted a HRM but couldn't justify one by itself, and the ones that did both a bike computer and HRM were expensive, not this one: https://www.nashbar.com/bikes/Product...76_-1___202553 They had a 21% off code as well yesterday that basically made the shipping and taxes free. So I'll have a new toy to figure out how to use, but I needed a bike computer, have one now but I needed another so I put this on my main road bike and transfer the other to one of the other bikes, then I'll be able to track my progress...or lack of progress! Maybe I shouldn't have bought it, not sure I want to know I'm doing bad or have to do much better!!!

The relatively low contrast might be tough to see on a poorly calibrated monitor. A lot of monitors are poorly calibrated.

I can't read it either, and my monitor's not bad, not the greatest either. Problem is the letters tops and bottoms curve around the tube so you can't make out what the letters are. Anyway nice bike, I bet you can't wait to slap some components on and take it out for a spin. Make into a fixie...just kidding!

Meh, the name really isn't that important anyway. It's just some cheapie that I found in the closeout bin.

I believe the critical component of the response ought to be "if you have to ask"....
