Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Did you pay full retail for that? I need a new saddle but can't justify the cost of that one.

I got some new Conti 4000's from Merlin.

I get 15% off of everything at my LBS because my buddy works there. I was really between the expert and the sworks. The expert has level 2 padding which is probably the most comfortable saddle I've been on, but I've been testing the pro shih is exactly like the sworks minus csrbon rails. Hard to justify the $100 for carbon rails, but I wanted it. The level 1 padding isn't AS comfortable but it is still really comfortable. Reason I went with the sworks over the expert was because it met every piece of the matrix for me. Its more sleek than the expert which looks nicer, it's lighter and after 75 mile rode on the level 1 padding gave me no issues what so ever.

Hmm, this looks like my Max SLR Gel Flow that I received in a trade...it's heavier saddle but I like it quite a bit, maybe I should check this out.

I'm surprised there is not more conversation about this saddle. All of my local bike shops in town or out of stock because they are flying off the shelves. I have not come across one person who has tried this saddle and did not like it. Specialized definitely knocked it out of the park with this design. I also like that they have specific attachments that screw into the back of the saddle. They have a GoPro mount that looks incredibly clean

What's funny is that I had no problem following what you wrote!

Hahahaha OMG. I guess Samsung voice to text is NOT that accurate!!!! I think I'll need to skim through my voice texts a bit more carefully in the future

Let's Try this again for others who may not have been able to decode that lol

I've been using the S-Works Power for a few months and I really like it. I need to push my LBS for the go-pro mount though.

Yeah I think it the Go pro mount is very nice looking. With the Vibration dampener that comes with the Gopro, I think the image will be pretty clear.

5 arm and infcranks where pushing the budget a little too far. No shifting complaints so far.

Then they wept with joy!

Yes I know I have a Sram Force cassette & chain. LBS and my son both said they will work seamlessly and this saved a few bucks.

Replacing several year old Rival group on my Look 566. The old group is still working well and will be donated to one of our local bicycle co-ops.

Placed an order for some Look Keo Max pedals to replace my aging Speedplay X-5's, and an Ultegra cassette. I've been having trouble finding cleats for the Speedplays, and I never liked paying over $40 for them, anyway. I had a pair of Keo's when they first came out, and I liked them. Gonna be tough letting go of the Speedplays, though.

Ordered a winter vest because its very very cold here and I have a 200k next week. Tour discount from Wiggle helps too.

I think now I have 5 vests.

Also some summer bibs because eventually the sun will come out again!

My wife looked it over and called it a good cookbook. Haven't made any of the recipes yet.
