Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

My fiancee recommended we put two of our bikes in our bedroom.

She also decided to put my Tour de France London Grand Depart posters up above the bed.

A third is in the garage, a fourth is in pieces at my parents.

The basement. Luckily, as soon as you walk up the steps, there is a door going into the garage, so it's a straight shot out.

My commuter (hybrid) lives in the weird tiny laundry room that is outside and has a locking door. My Miyata 912 which I can't ride currently lives in the passageway between the kitchen and the living room. When I had roommates, in the old place, my hybrid lived in the basement, the Miyata in my bedroom.

If I am riding every day or so it stays on my front porch leaned against a Park stand. If I know I am not going to be riding my bike for a few days (or 2 dang weeks like now because of training I have to attend) then it is in my home office.

As to the porch... I live way out it the country and most times do not even feel the need to lock my doors for quick errands.
