Steve. I remember that. Outchakov pwn3d Lance.....Phil had inked Lance in for the win 20 miniutes from the line!! Was that into Revel?? That's where tonight's stage is finishing. |

Long, tree-lined boulevard on the run-in. Very picturesque. |

Young Alan Davis is quietly collecting points that the big guns can't/won't chanse down - now 4th in the standings
|
Yep, consistent performer so far.
Evans missed the mini-break with the leaders last night... lost a couple of places.. Jock, C, If i wanted to get a CCCC jersey TONIGHT... where could i get one? |
You would ring damon scarfe (contact details on the web site) and see if anyone is going to be home. Brad or Mrs Scarfe can usually help you out if Damon is going to be late home. Make sure you get prices for the kit because Brad doesn't know off the top of his head.
[EDIT] Evans only lost a place last night because Vinokourov went ballistic. Good on him for getting out of T-Mobile too. Hope it werks out for him. |
Ludewig is still carrying on about Cadel. In his latest diary entry he basically moans a lot and explains how he's a pretty crap rider. Then he wonders whether his situation would have been better if it weren't for the "disruptive influence" of yesterday! Sheesh, the guy is so blameless.

So is Phillipe Gilbert from fdj.com. They've had possibly a worse Tour than Domina Vacanze..... McGee? Cooke?? |
Have you guys seen this: http://news.ninemsn.com.au/article.aspx?id=55880

Gilbert got up for fifth(?) yesterday, but that would have to be the highlight of FDJ's race so far I would think.
Maybe the constant high speed has played havoc with a few of the Aussies. Rogers reckons he's totally spent having climbed the Pyrenees already exhausted. Peaked too early (Tour of Sw). McGee and Cooke have nothing to offer - their whole team seems to be undercooked. Tough for McGee in his first tour as lead rider. |

Personally, I can't see how a novice driver can be held accountable for what is fundmentally inexperience. She overcorrected and made a bad situation worse. I made the same mistake (without the same consequences) when I was younger. Expat has already pointed out how stupid licence aquisition is. Red-necked "eye-for-an-eye" justice has no place in society and the sooner it is replaced with something less draconian, more humane, and more sane the better. |
From the latest Cycling NSW newsletter:
"At this stage we don’t know when the girls will be back home but it would be fantastic to have a thousand good will messages ready for them when they do get home. So I encourage you to send an email via the link acf.info@cycling.org.au offering your support." |

Oh, the whole thing sucks by the way. Taylor's pretty upset too. Even though she doesn't ride much, she can relate more to the female racers than the Tour. |

Liggett mentioned that loss of Armstrong's last night, but he didn't elaborate. Hey Ed, did you see that pic of "Cadel Evans" on p94 of the Herald Sun? Dunno who it was? :D Who is it? or is it him? |

he got dropped on the last climb but then came back to take third from the cyclingnews.com reports. Bummer. It was actually pretty impressive from both those guys (Savoldelli and Arvesen); Gerrans and the Credit Agricole guy could barely hold their wheels in the last few kms......especially Savoldelli...WOW!! BANG!!! He just dusted them off |
Wow, todays stage was flat out. Top job from Gerrans who managed to hang in there with some pretty big hitters - I know I wouldn't've liked to have been in those last couple of kms!
FYI anyone else sick of hearing about Armstrong yet? Excuse me while I have a little vom-vom and go throw some petrol on some yellow bracelets. |
Isn't Lance racing a Thylacine next year?
|
No, but he did call yesterday and asked if he could have a vial.
