wouldn't they have been half a chance to win the Giro, and which has more bling: the Giro or the "Swisso"? Giro takes 3 weeks of balls out racing. The young blokes (or just about anyone these days) can't do that and the Tour as well. Tour de Suisse is the 2nd richest race in the world....I think (someone correct me....is the Giro in front still?) |

Pisser!!! ROFLMFAO!!! |
Mate, I've done it myself a few times, but not on a path.....obviously.
When I used to jog, I once had no choice but to crank one out in someone's front yard.:p It was either there or the middle of North Road. I can still remember the house:D In fact, I had to let one go behind a bush in Mordy a couple of months ago |
That's disgusting 531. How anyone could admit to jogging is beyond me :p
|
I laid one on the side of Mt Buffalo one day over the Xmas break. Had crook guts from bike rider cooking....
Had time to find some arse grass, and scramble back up the slope just the the girls were coming past. Job done. Thank god for full length zippers on jerseys! |

Okay, what's next? Q: If you could cross breed any two animals, which would you combine and what would you call it? A: I would cross a jackass and a hippo and call it THE INTERNET. I new a bloke once crossed a cocatoo with a saber toothed tiger. What did he get??? |
fellas, Kennedy frames. Are they reputable or what? Looking at one for a trainer/commuter frame.
|
Dunno about "reputable", but I've got 2 alu Kennedys, and they're good enough (I got them VERY cheap --"shop soiled"). I'd even go so far as to say that they're definitely race-worthy, but I wouldn't spend a bucket on one unless I was getting a custom jobby. I'm sure it'll do what you want, and I reckon they're no worse than any of the other bazillion TIG alu frames out there. Mine are 58cm, and weigh about 1520g without a fork.
I don't ride them all that much because they're full Dedacciai 7003 alu, and therefore obviously not as comfy as my steel bikes. Having said that, I'm rebuiliding one of them at the moment with a cheap carbon/alu Roselli fork and 9 speed DA, so I plan on riding it a lot more in the slushy Melbourne winter. Kennedy's shop is my 3rd port all call when I need something, so I go there semi-regularly. As far as I know (and I could be wrong), Kennedy has two types of frames: 1) cheap, factory, alu imports for 'normal' shaped people who don't wanna spend much (which is what mine are), and 2) custom jobs that are made locally. John is a big fan of slightly relaxed head tubes, for stability, and he REALLY loves longish chain stays, claiming that the current 395mm to 400mm chain stay fashion is totally shit for comfort and proper chain line. SO......there's a slight chance the frame you're looking at could've been a custom job for someone with weird dimensions, so measure it up good to make sure it'll suit ya I assume it's second hand? How much are you gunna spend on it? |
Morning, gentlemen. A long day ahead of me today. I've never been up this early and not gone fishing.
|
new, shop soiled, steel, 58cm square. He does mention the relaxed feel of it and the longer stays. Looks pretty nice in the pics. It's under $300.
And what about friggin Bettini taking out our Cookie !!!! Damn Italians !!! :) What's Expat up to then if he ain't fishin'? |

|
yeah, I asked for a price on shipping first. Not bought just yet. Melb to Gossy so hopefully not too expensive, surely a frame only fits within the Aust Post maximum size limits, no ?

"The dimensions submitted exceed the maximum dimensions for parcels of 105cm in length and 140cm girth." Tough cheese. That means expensive couriers like TNT, IPEC, etc |

looks like some rain possibly on Sunday, you fellas still going to ride if it does? If there's any chance of a bailout I will make a plan to do the Kincumba 45km race instead of driving up to Newy. If you will ride in rain, that's cool with me, I'd rather do the group ride anyway.
