If you're the only person involved, no problem, do what you like. If you have a spouse/significant other that is going to complain, just say, "But they didn't MATCH!" and no woman would argue with that logic. The weight doesn't matter.

Bikes: 8 bikes - one for each day of the week!
She didn't say a word when I bought the Harley, so I don't think a seatpost is going to upset her. Besides, she bought me a bike without telling me first.
