Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

That's the nice thing about here in socal. Lower highs and higher lows. More even year round instead of the extremes.

I think humans just weren't meant to live outside of 0F-100F.

I think California has all the heat right now. I wouldn't even know it was winter except that the days are short. It was in the mid 60s today, and I was too hot with the sun beating down on me when taking my power nap in my car at work. I had all the windows and the hatchback open even.
But don't hate us out here too much. We're supposed to get rain on Thursday, and another storm next week.

I actually road the trainer (cycleops fluid 2) last night and much as I expected after 30min my skin was crawling. I do hate riding indoors but as I said it looks like it will be back in the 70s and 80s by the weekend
