When's the chain going on? |
Oh, after the brakes have been installed, etc.
For the moment I ran into a new dilemma: either stock polished alu 2010 Chorus brakes, or wait for the 2011 black Chorus brakes and have them customized with one celeste arm (silimar to the custom Campa brakes on Valverde's mount) http://img510.imageshack.us/img510/3...prince3wj7.jpg |

seeing your bike...eases my mind....and puts me at peace.

Man, that's an Eyetalian FEAST!

Thanks all! Re the cables: I'm going for "tutto Campa" thus no celeste cables and no celeste hoods because it's original Campa parts all the way.

That looks spectacular. I really miss not having celeste in my bike garage. Maybe I'll wrap my bars in it.
|

Oooooo I like that idea, I'm getting Record Skeletons over the winter. Now would you do the inner or outboard arm?

My original plan was to rebuild this bike for the 2010 season but finding all the right parts was a bit more difficult than expected so it will have to wait for next spring before it hits the Dutch roads. http://i816.photobucket.com/albums/z...e/P1130961.jpg |
hot looking bike. Do you know the pantone color number for Bianchi's celeste green? I need some one to print a custom decal and he needs the number to match it's color.
thanks |
sweet ride but I think the seat and neck/bars make for too much celeste. Black would look better.

I am not sure about the seat but for my taste the Celeste stem/bar is a bit much. I like blue bars to set off, what used to be a dark blue, Bianchi decal. http://www.bikeforums.net/attachment...4&d=1292021151 |
Wow...talk about a beautiful bike. Now go put some miles on it ;)
|
Hehe, I'm eager to do so but the snow spoils all fun!
|
Awesome build!

drool . . . that is one sexy bike. It makes me miss my bianchi.
Many happy miles. |
Yeah, the snow sucks. I haven't ridden my bike in nearly three months and am pretty pumped to ride it again. Unfortunately the ride to work has doubled in distance, but with all the snow it's not even possible to go out and ride. Sucks to live here in NL at the moment, doesn't it?
Now about the bike... I've been looking at it for half an hour now and I'm unable to find any flaws. It's just pure porn. |
