Which Superfeet Insole?
Hey guys. I'm looking to take these ridiculous insoles out of my Sidis and replace them with some Superfeet ones. I've heard that the best two to use in athletic shoes are the black or yellow ones. Yellow being for shoes with a raised heel. Do Sidis normally have a "raised heel?" I can't tell in my shoes (Sidi Lazer Mesh).
Also, how small do you guys like your shoes? I mean, my toes aren't touching the front, but they are right there. I'll be outgrowing them soon, but I got them for $20 and I plan to use them for at least two seasons.
Thanks.

On the site they recommend the black, blue, and yellow insoles so check to see which one matches your arch height best since that varies with each insole. I have the blue and like it but if you want more cushioning in the forefoot the green might work well for you. Also make sure that your shoes aren't too tight even the summer shoes because your feet swell when you ride so something too constricting isn't good, and if the shoes are tight in the toe box you'll start feeling uncomfortable.

I also swapped the crap insoles that came with my SIDI with the "green" Superfeet. I used to use the green ones a very long time ago when I played sports in highschool.
I stuck with what worked; it's amazing that they haven't changed the design at all during this time and I sort of like that--solidarity and all.

The old greys are the new yellows. But the yellows are specifically designed for shoes with a raised heel. I suppose my Sidis would fit into that category.
I've looked at the green, but I'm pretty flatfooted, so I think the yellow or black will be best.

I use the black ones in my Sidis as well. Also in my running shoes. I have low arches that have their highest point back further towards the heel. A lot of running shoe inserts have the arch support in the wrong place for me.

I use yellow. Here's another data point: At my local EMS they have a big freestanding display of Superfeet insoles in the shoe department, but they only sell the yellow ones in the bike department.

Do any of you have problems fitting these insoles into your Sidis?
I've tried Sole insoles and Specialized ones and they don't fit into my Sidis (they are normal width). I have the Genius 5 of 6 or 6.6 or something, around 2 years old, with the heel cup snugger up thing.
I'm looking to replace the Sidi insoles but can't get any that will fit and while I realized I can trim them down, seems silly to spend $40-$50 just to cut something up.

Non of the above.
Find yourself a Sidas retailer who can make you full custom Conformable footbeds.
https://www.conform-able.com/activity...ng=EN&iIdAct=4
Full Custom footbeds will be about $100-150 depending on retailer.
Universal fit systems will be on par with superfeet pricing (about $50-75)
FYI, I use the full customs by Sidas Conformable in my Ski boots, Snowboard boots and Bikes shoes. The level of comfort is infinitely greater then the stock insoles.

I have been very happy with the Specialized Body Geometry soles. They have 3 different arches available. I am using the blue soles which, I think, are medium arches.
I needed to trim them a bit to fit my Sidi Genius 5 but they have been perfect. They definitely improve feet comfort during long rides.
They are a bit thicker than the original Sidi soles so make sure that your shoes will allow sufficient height clearance.

Get the Yellow ones, pull out your current insoles trace it on the back of new one and start cutting a little at a time until they fit perfectly. I have the green ones in my running shoes and like my Specialized insoles in my bike shoes, if I didn't like my Specialized insoles so much I would pick up a pair of Yellow Superfeet.

I've used blue and grey in the past. Superfeet are great. That being said, I switched to the Specialized BG insoles and won't look back.
