my right ass cheek is slightly scraped and turning black and blue. God I love my mountian bike only 8 miles but 1000 feet ascent, felt good. It was a bit wet. Ate it twice, once on mud, once on a bridge. (the wood was a lot worse than I thought)

100.4 miles, one stop for an icecream cone. I am kind of tired believe it or not.

I just got home from a nice mountain bike ride. 7 miles, then it was dark. But fast! It was a lot of fun. Technical trails with a friend of mine. It was real muddy, and I nearly crashed jumping a log since my chain ring clipped it. Power washed the bike when I got home (bad idea, but I'm lazy tonight). It's clean now. Time to go shower.

42 road miles and a nice quick mountain bike ride. Not bad at all.

I don't know what's wrong with you people. I rode 32 miles this evening and didn't have any problems.

Then again, I'm not a rank amateur.

Uuummmmm. yes you are.

heckler 05-29-10 08:14 PM

you are kind of sub amateur, since you don't enter amateur races you would be filed as a "rec rider" I believe

Who's going to win the Stanley Cup? And, relatedly, do either of these teams have a full-time goaltender? Or did they just bring some guys up from the minors?

heckler 05-29-10 08:28 PM

the goalies must be nervous...this however does make it slightly more exciting than a normal game.

Hey everyone. I'm looking to buy a new bike. Dura Ace Di2 or Super Record?

Velo Vol 05-29-10 09:15 PM

Hey Pcad,

Look what a degree at NYU can get you these days.

Maybe Pcaddette can get a degree in religious and women’s studies?

People always blaming others for their mistakes...terrible.

mowed (with a weed wacker) the grass, Transplanted an azalea bush, 25 mile ride and all clean by 12. Good day.

coasting 05-30-10 11:28 AM

hey pcad

Has anyone ever stopped to admire your bike? it happened to me today. I stopped at a cafe and an off duty cyclist (just out for brunch) came up to me and quizzed me about my bike. He was well impressed. He was even more impressed with the price. He asked me if i minded telling him how much the frame cost and i asked him to guess. He guessed £3,000+. His jaw dropped when i told him £900

Hey coaster,

How was your "century" ride yesterday? Did you go to Oxford?

didn't happen. torrential rain nearly washed me into oblivion. struggled home like a drowned cat. never again. well, today was not picnic either. brutal winds all the way. 6 hours for 75 miles. ice on knees now.

so how are you brutalising yourslef, gomer?

Velo Vol 05-30-10 12:30 PM

I rode half a century yesterday. A metric century, that is.

Never again . . . until the next time.

During the ride, it rained on the start point (and presumably elsewhere), but thanks to my awesome route-seeking skills I avoided the rain altogether.

Did she work up to it with a metric Fred century?

Actually, she did. It was the first time for her on a bike since last summer.
