Hey pcad I was wondering if I should get the digital subscription of VeloNews. Is it worth the cash? 15 digital issues for 30$?

Velo Vol 06-03-10 07:06 PM

I made a Fredtastic debut to the full-sized group ride scene this evening.

Should I start a thread chronicling my Fred pas?

I hope the garmin is here tomorrow. Shipped tuesday. Last time I ordered from them, it shipped wednesday and got here the following monday. So, what do you think? Tomorrow or monday?

I'm getting leaner. Soon I will be back racing with my team. Or attempting to do so. I hope I can help them in those races. I'm getting my fitness back. This really has been the lost season. And I wasn't in bad shape at all in late March. Makes me wonder how things would have done without those dental detours, but let's see how it goes now.

TT Sunday. I'll ride the TT bike over there, the start is 25 miles from here, couple of decent hills. Good warm up in the little ring.

I may suck at this sport, but I do like the racing, when I'm fit enough to even participate.

Good luck! So long as you can get on a bike and ride around then it's not a total loss. The heat and humidity wasn't pleasant for me on the ride back this evening which has me looking forward to getting back on the early morning rides as soon as my daughter starts summer vacation.

My fenders should arrive tomorrow. I'm pretty excited :D (hey, my life is dull, don't hate.)

Hows that new bike working out for ya?

Awesome. Light, stuff, handles great. Only complaint is the saddle. I preferred the Arione on my old bike. But I'm too poor to buy a new one. Now if only my legs were good enough to match the bike.

grammar nazi, you know what I meant :P

It's late and I'm trying to pound out this physics lab so I can go to bed.

My mentor told me to get 8 hours of sleep the 2-3 nights before my stage race this weekend...

...I haven't gotten 8 hours of sleep on a school night since freshman year...

I'm basically done with physics - I loved that class.

I've started going to bed earlier, it's great. What are your school hours?

Heh.

Keep at it , They will catch up. Ride something heavy for training and race the light one!

Eh, I don't like to mess with mixing bikes too much as my two bikes have slightly different crank lengths. I think I've just been overreaching a tad, I've been riding better with more rest.

I like physics, but my teacher is not a very good teacher. Very smart man and really nice, just not a good teacher. I think I'm going to major in biophysics for college. School is from 7:35-2:15. I get home at 3, if I'm riding from my house (no training crit or group ride), I'm out the door by 3:30. Generally start my homework at like 7 after dinner and stuff. Bed at 11 is a good night. Its even worse when I go to the training crit thats like an hour from my house and the second race starts at 7...ugh.
