I resemble that remark!:P I am however slowly getting fitter and faster. If I actually did some training instead of just commuting I may, eventually, get fit and fast enough to race in C grade (loosely equivalent of Cat3).

Hey pCad, this thread is dying. You need to breath some life into it or start another lame thread to replace it.

When I read about people refusing to play soccer it gives me hope for the world.

It is the Death of a Thousand Fred Cuts.

Plus you can't even spell dying.

It's like some bizarre version of the Moronic Junior Fred Worlds around here.

How loose? (How many grades do you have?)

it seems most people with letters in other countries have a D (4/5), C (4) B(3), A (1/2) break down. IS NZ diffferent?

4:52AM is not early. I have to get up @ 3:20AM for some of those Brooklyn races. The bars in NY are still open for 40 minutes at that point. That's just not right.

I didn't know we had bars open past 2 in NY. Well, maybe open, but not serving.

Just because you do it doesn't mean it's right.

It's definitely not 2, but I thought it was 3.

Shows you how long it's been since I've been out drinking that late at night.

I start earlier now days and can't last near as long.

patentcad 06-21-10 08:20 AM

Another 52 miles in the gorgeous warm June weather this AM. 172 lbs after the ride.

God help all of Cycling if I get down to 165. Strike 'if'. More like when. Hopefully by the 4th of July. At least maybe then I can actually ride with the idiots I want to ride with. Stupid Road Nazis.

When I was drinking it was 4AM in NY. I know, I used to close the stupid bars.

Friggin amateurs.

Actually, that last picture of you looked like they just found you after being lost in the mountains for a week with no food. I am about 5 pounds less than you at just under 5-11, and I don't look that skinny at all.

coasting 06-21-10 10:10 AM

I've gained 3 kg of water retention since yesterday's ride. I'm really looking forward to letting the pee out. It's going to go on and on and on. If only there were snow outside, I would spell out supercalifragilisticexpialidocious.
