Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

That would also work as an "Enhanced Interrogation Technique" at Gitmo.

she took it well, but i am not sure she understood.

Reaching an understanding for my Ptap cost me a workout room and a treadmill in the basement. I've cheated by doubling up on the room as a bike cave as well.

If you're awake right now, the next hour or two of live Tour coverage should be excellent.

Those moderator posts were the first female posts we've had here in how long?

Bikes: Something Canadian, something Italian, something American, and something German

My friend's mountain bike got stolen. Not only has he put a couple grand into it, but really loved that bike.

Life sucks.

Mtb race was pretty bad. It was still wet from yesterday. Lots of falling. I dropped (after 1 of 2 laps) out after I torn off the first scab and started bleeding all over my gloves.

I managed not to fall, but dropped the bike a few times...people were crashing all over. It was pretty fun, but I am so close to healed. In retrospect I probably should have waited another week for racing
