Usually those guys are on motorcycles. You know the ones....

I can't wait till 'cross season. I'll be racing my soon to be owned Specialized Crux. I'll be sure to start a thread about it. Maybe I'll even start a thread about a mysterious thing I will be purchasing first.

mzeffex 07-11-10 09:12 PM

But I just said what it is that I will be buying, so that thread would be kind of pointless. Feel free to start rueing.

Back from NYC.

Fredliest place in the world. Saw 4 Cannondale Supersix HiMods.

1 was being walked down the sidewalk.

Another was being riden by a guy in a Spongebob jersey.

Yet another was being ridden by a guy wearing a full radioshack kit.

Another was ridden on the sidewalk by 250pound dude.

Went to R & A cycles in Brooklyn . Best bike shop I've ever been too. They have a Litespeed Archon with lightweights in their front store window. All the bikes there are over $4000. They had Pinarello Dogma frames hanging from the cielings. They had lightweights and Zipp 808's hanging too. Had a cervelo R3 SL, S2, S3, P4. Every expensive bike you could think of including colnagos.

Twas in heaven.

There's no streetlights and the roads are all twisty and stuff. The GPS sent me down a friggin unpaved road with tons of pot holes. 'the hell is this? How do you do it?

Country roads are wayyyy better for riding though.

Lack of stoplights, yeah, but the not paved ones aren't.
