The thing automatically signed in for ages but suddenly it wants passwords which I can't find.

Just do the forgot password thing.

I believe the account is associated with an e-mail address I can no longer access.

Oh man, that sucks. I can't remember my passwords, every site has different rules, and my wife has to get into some of my accounts, so I ended up putting mine in a password protected file on password protected thumb drives.

have you tried going to the page you log in at and hit, ( CTRL + ENTER )

It's wanting me to sign in using my Google account information. I have a YouTube account that I set up prior to the Google account. It always signed in automatically when I visited YouTube, so it seems it has to be saved somewhere.

"Another way to dislocate a rib is by letting yourself get weak and flabby, and then exerting yourself, especially in an asymmetrical manner. "

So, just use your google account.

It would be in a cookie, so if that cookie got wiped out, it's gone, and if it was still there, you can't read it, but the site would.

I finally figured it out. My repository of 80s music videos is safe.

Apparently they are trying to get everyone to link YouTube and Google accounts now so that likely prompted the sign in.

who on that list does not feel at least a modicum of shame?

Velo Vol 07-13-10 06:45 AM

It's a shame I'm behind Razor.

That list is wrong, by the way. Pcad's total got left off, so everyone else's total is what the person above them has.

How does everyone handle being approached by needy people?

Last night (at 11 pm) I was just about to leave the church gym when this seemingly homeless woman walked up (right through some landscaping).

The church is near a main road, so every now and then people wander through, but that's the first time I've seen anyone that late.

She first asked me if I had any cigarettes. I reply that I don't. She then tells me that everyone (even non-smokers) is supposed to carry some around for people who need them. During the course of the conversation she told me that again two or three times.

She then asked about me giving her some money to get cigarettes. I was able to deflect that request. In the event I would help her with anything I certainly wasn't going to give her smokes (I didn't say that, but that's what I was thinking).

Then she started asking me about a kindergarten teaching position at the school. She said she needed a job and was qualified to teach. She pointed in the direction of some signs where she said she read about it. The only signs there are parking signs. At this point I concluded she might be half-crazy.

Anyway, we went back and forth for two or three minutes as I tried to make clear that: (1) I didn't have any cigarettes for her, (2) I didn't know anything about any teaching position, (3) I was the only person there.

I finally convinced her that's how things stood. Only after I drove off did I realize that the sign she was talking about is one by the road which advertises that the school is taking applications for students.

Later, I felt a little bad for leaving her there, seeing that she pretty obviously needed some help. But even if I wanted to do something, what the heck was I supposed to do at 11 pm?
