You may consider getting a bird. When it becomes too much....open the door of the cage...open a window...lift the screen...problem over.

now thats a good idea, except for the fact that the incessant chirping would drive me nuts.

I have a piranha named Fidel. He's entertaining.

No, you gotta get a talker to motivate you.

"You're too fat"
"You suck"
"You ride like pCad"

That thread is dead to me now.

coasting 07-14-10 03:46 PM

i'll go redirect that lost soul to here

heckler 07-14-10 03:47 PM

while your neighbor certainly seems to have handled this in a poor way (a veiled threat to kill sam) for a first time incident. I would also be hella pissed if a neighbor dog came by and messed up my trash.

Your anger that he should have had locking trash cans makes me think you are blinded by anger. It is pretty ridiculous that he should have to keep his property a certain way to avoid your pets trespassing on it.

People in my neighborhood often leave their garage doors open. given the distance between your houses I am surprised you were not more concerned with sam wandering off that far.

heckler 07-14-10 03:50 PM

btw can we merge the threads? All of our post counts would jump up and we would be propelled beyond the 33 twitter thread.

Someday--down the road--we should go retro and bring it back, just to confuse the Foosters.

But for now my boycott of Foo is still going strong.

Try to pay attention, I'm only repeating this once. I was at his house two days earlier discussing this issue with his wife, who told me, yeah, OK, they'd leave the garbage in the cans, it was OK if my dog came in their yard.

I understand him being upset with the dog. But under the circumstances accurately describe above, I really don't understand the complete jackwagon calling me with that tone, threatening my dog, or issuing me 'warnings'. Good grief what a complete ahole. If he had done that in person, I swear I would have belted him. I'm glad it was over the phone. I haven't been that pissed in a long time. I'm trying to calm down and forget about it. He's not worth it.

i don't think adults hit each other. the last fight i was in was when i was 6. i have an unbeaten record in fist fights.

The clueless mods would probably merge it in Foo and wreck my postcount again.

Have you ever seen another forum that tracks posts from certain subforums but not others? It's ********.

Dear Pcad,

Give your neighbor a sturdy garbage can as a gesture of good will.

Your fence-mending BF comrade,

JFC! I post what has probably been the only cycling related comment in weeks, and it's ignored! Are any of you even into cycling? This is Bike Forums btw. No wonder the 33 eschews you.

rubbish. these bstards spent some time betting how badly i would ride my century.

heckler 07-14-10 04:23 PM

I know you talked to his wife pcad...You have been married 20 years how could you possibly think married folk communicate effectively. The wife could have said that in spite of the husband for all you know. And wanting a dog in your yard to play with the puppy is very different than your dog coming over and tearing open someones trash.

I agree wholeheartedly that he was a jackass about it and should have toned it down, as I said in my first post.

Kidd, link to bike related thread? I can't tell you how many of my threads have <3 posts in them :( I am no pcad

The last fist fight I had was when I was in high school. My brother wrecked my car, so I clobbered him.

I haven't ridden since Sunday. If there are any Freds cruising the Boulevard de Freds this evening they will eat the VeloVolmobile's dust!

There, cycling content.
