I've knocked 20 minutes off the completion time from when I first began the route 2 years ago. Topping out at 2500 feet, it's really scenic, with views of west Los Angeles, the San Fernando valley, and the Pacific ocean.

Oh man, we are totally effed.

We will totally be rueing the day that your weekend ride became your weekday ride.

How's that.:D

Are any of you even into cycling? This is Bike Forums btw. No wonder the 33 eschews you.

I rode 32 miles in the hammering rain at 5:30 this morning. I have more miles (and hours) than 99% of the idiots in the 33.

And make no mistake, I am the Eschewer, not the Eschewee.

My heart rate as I read this is 52. You guys need to come up with something more stimulating.

"es" doesn't taste as good as it's made out to be.

The words are correct, but you need help with the sincerity.

I understand.

OK, so maybe this is a cyclist thing, but I take the fact that the name of the BP exec in charge of the Gulf cleanup is named Fred Lemond as a bad omen.

Just sayin'.

In all seriousness, well done on the improvements. The views sound great.

Many of my rides include views of Oneida Lake. No mountains here, but I like it anyway.

I just rode 20 miles on freshly paved road. How sweet it is. I felt like I could go for ever. That makes me think that those of you that get to ride on smooth roads are not that much faster that me.
