I'm suspicious of anyone named Stefan.

So, prompted by coasting's post about climbing, I focused on my pedal stroke on the hills today. I think it helped on the longer steady-effort hills.
Of course, 3 or 4 months of consistent riding is an even bigger factor at this point. |

If you do get one of those cars, remember that the gas pedal is on the right and the brake pedal is on the left. Toyota drivers seem to have trouble with that.

The graduation rate isn't a reflection that people are taking years extra to graduate--though a few do. It reflects the fact that a large percentage of students drop out before they ever make it there.
I remember during my freshman orientation (years back) the speaker gave the "one of the persons sitting next to you won't be here for graduation" talk. The point being that even then (before 1997) the graduation rate must have been somewhere around 50%.

I guess my college experience was different. No one I knew took more than four years to graduate. I just asked my wife if she considered the option of graduating in five years and she said no, it was never a consideration. Her Italian father would have killed her.

People graduate in TN? From what?

that's odd. i thought you are supposed to keep the upper body still as possible.
The conventional wisdom my experimentation goes against is that the upper body is supposed to be relaxed. And what I was doing was more tiring--not a way to do a long climb. However for short, rolling hills, where I remain seated and try power over only downshifting a little, it might work. I have to do more analysis. |

Oh, I'm real worried about Toyota. Somehow I think they'll make it through. We're buying one.
Your Prius is a favorite here. It is the car of the local bourgeoisie. |

Stopped to help a guy that had to be hauled off in the ambulance after hitting a hole on his TT bike (beauty of a P4!!). The paramedics said there were lots of ticks along the road in the area (they had apparently picked up bike weenies there before)...
Sure enough I get home and have a stupid tick on my gut and now have a sorta circular rash... stupid lyme disease. Looks like a round of antibiotics for me. |
I can't resist.

Stupid FRS. After I read post-ordering my free trial I called to cancel and make sure I don't get monthly shipments of $55. The guy on the phone assured me that by ordering the trial I do not subscribe to this service. Just checked it again tonight and it said "After your 14 day trial offer is over, you will be automatically subscribed to the monthly enrollment offer of FRS where you will be sent $79.99 of FRS for only $55"
