Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

wait, I've got one.

Why does my Shimano 7800 RD not want to stay adjusted since I installed a SRAM cassette? I thought they were supposed to be compatible.

Do you have a white garage door for when the time comes? Are you familiar with all of the rules of BF bike photos?

I don't break things--they simply stop working correctly.

See! Aren't they confusing? Bikes are supposed to be simple little machines and yet they provide all this grief.

I used the crappy shifting as one of the evenings excuses for once again getting popped. I need a button that makes it go wonky on demand.

I have my line ready - "one day I'll get this thing to work right and you guys will be sorry, very sorry indeed. You will see."
