Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Not if Al Gore can help it.

Do you know what is almost as addicting as Reece's Pieces Peanut Butter Cups? Entenmann's--it's not just a donut, it's a way of life; makes for good cycling fuel as well...

I'm not one for donuts but I can kill a big box of Entenmann's Milk Chocolate Chip cookies in one sitting. If i have to, I can also do it with just Chocolate Chip, but prefer the Milk Chocolate.

"Followers"!?!?

And in another fairly early post in this thread, you call your fellow posters "sycophants" ... for being curious enough about his new ride to check out the tread.

Pcad, as entertained as I occasionally am by your quick-witted if manic rants, caustic putdowns and peeing matches, I am neither a follower or a sycophant. I daresay the same is true of most of us who pop in from time to time to see what's new on BF.

If you actually rode as much as you say you ride, while eating what you say you eat, you'd look like this:

1) I think that chocolate are the only ones worth talking about, but which ones? Or rather, am I the only one that thinks the regular-sized 8-to-a-pack chocolate donuts are significantly different than the chocolate 12-pack minis? Completely different texture... I wonder why...

2) I stop eating them in warm weather - when the chocolate ones are warm, and lose their bit of crunch, they're not nearly as good.

3) What was this thread about, again?

And if one is addicted to (nearly) pointless threads? Will this thread implode or explode?

Salmon candy from Whole Foods, a baguette from Wegman's, and a couple glasses of wine. Broccoli and cauliflower dipped in honey mustard yogurt dressing. Maybe some fresh raspberries in greek yogurt for desert. Who knows, the night is young.

I ride for the food and drink; might as well, right?

Do you know what is also addicting? Horchata. Too bad it's almost impossible to get some nice horchata in NYC, even at the supposed "Mexican" places.
