The degree to which my 52 year old legs are fried after back to back days of racing in March is hard to quantify in Fredly terms.

No. I FTF (Finished Totally Fried). Felt better in yesterday's race. Went to the front of couple of times today to help out, but it was much tougher for me today. But I did do the complete 12 laps/40 miles. I won't know the average speed or any of that until I look at the Ptap file (had the Ptap on the bike today).
Afterwards kimconyc and I did a couple of laps of PP and traded notes on how much cooler our bike schwag is than all of your bike schwag, and what a bunch of fredly hosers you all are. Gorgeous weekend in NY the past two days. What a pleasure.
As kimco and I were rolling, some guys asked me if we were on a charity ride. We answered 'no', but on the way home it did occur to me that every race I participate in is a charity ride, and Race Promotors are the beneficiaries.

My arthritic right knee has been holding up very well indeed since that last round of Synvisc injections in August. Very happy with the results. I'm sure I'll need more of that stuff eventually, but if I can get away with one round of shots annually or less (the previous round of shots held off the cranky knee syndrome for almost 18 months), that would be stellar. I'm riding pretty hard and the knee is really putting up with all that very nicely. Typical successful Synvisc results are 6-12 months of relief from arthritic knee conditions, if you get 12+ months it's working very well for you.
I also take a daily Glucosamine/Chondroitin supplement, which really does seem to help too.

I'm not liking the turn this weather is taking. I want to do some bike shopping tomorrow - if I have to delay my outset on the road to poseurhood by another week, I shall be very put out.

Yep! The Wegmans in Bridgewater is better than the one in Princeton tho. I just had a crab cake from the Bridgewater store. It was dee-lish. Also in the Princeton area is a Trader Joe's and Joe Canal's wine, beer, etc. Wegmans has a really nice selection of beer and wine, but Joe Canal's is much bigger and usually cheaper.
Oh, riding...rode with the racer boys today. Rode to the start from home and got in about 60 miles total. Another beautiful day.
