I love my job. But then, I am the boss.
And I'm in a firing mood. I'd announce massive layoffs, but if I lay off the one other guy, I'd have to do all the work. I'd have no time to post on BF.
I can't do that to my BF Fan Base.

Lighter.

I hope the bike stops now. But whatever. I'm more worried about going than stopping.

My normalized power for the 55+ minute Central Park race on Saturday was 272 watts. I have no idea what that means. Does anybody here? I felt strong in that race, went to the front a few times, took some pulls chasing the break. Going past the Guggenheim I was at the point of the pack putting down whatever I had, I looked down and the speedo said 28 mph. Maybe if I could have mustered 30 we would have caught that break. Oh well.
I'd post that in the 33 but they'd only make fun of me.

That's like telling a beer league softball player that Nolan Ryan throws a 100 mph fastball. I'm more interested in how much normalized power an average Cat 4 or Cat 3 guy puts down than what C. Boardman or L. Armstrong generate.

37 mi, a little over two hour easy recovery spin on the Scott. Man that Addict felt great today. Feels better with each ride as I get used to it. Really liking it more and more. Different than the S2, great race bike. Hey, you want a great race bike, the odds that it's going to be plush are not good. My Ibis Ti is plush if I'm ever going out on a 3+ hour ride on crappy roads. Other than that I want a light, stiff, responsive bike, and I really like how CF feels.
My CF bikes now weigh just under 16 lbs (Scott with clinchers), 16.5 lbs (S2 with Zipp 404 clinchers and Powertap) or 15.2 lbs (S2 with Zipp 404 tubulars). Light enough for me, lightest bikes I've ever owned and ridden. And they both feel like you could ride them 60 mph + downhill without a problem. Even though they are light they feel very solid and stable. That's the coolest part about today's race bikes.

The answers above seem consistent with Carmichael:
