Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

We will of course overwhelm them with vastly superior numbers and body weight. We will crush them. I mean physically, not their souls. Besides, anybody who is into amateur bicycle racing sold their soul a long time ago. I tried to, but like some of my eBay listings, there were no bids.

It's UPS. Just pray the idiot who delivers it doesn't leave it outside your house in some way that virtually assures its destruction under your own car wheels.

when i'm not home, ups leaves my packages outside in the rain without anyone signing for it. Fedex do not do that.

My favorite UPS Classic was when I was in my basement office waiting for a $4,000 guitar to be delivered all day. I found it @ 6PM. The driver had leaned it up against my back office door, never rang the bell, and left it outside. A guitar. An expensive, fragile, sensitive to temperature and humidity guitar. All afternoon.

It was 12ºF that day.

God help me what a bunch of idiots some of those drivers are sometimes.

They do the same for me, but put them in a plastic bag.

Who would be dumb enough to run over a package sitting in the driveway?

Never mind.

My guess is that rollin is more of a photography traditionalist, and that he doesn't like the lack of sharpness due to the multiple exposures (and the resulting motion blur) necessary for HDR photography. Me - I don't like the unrealistic hues typically created by the HDR process - I mean, who would ever be caught dead in blue kit with fuschia trim? What color is that in real life?

I didn't know it was HDR, I just assumed it was an(other) ugly paint scheme on a Cervelo.

I like the pic and also liked the one posted of a Pcad racing in Central Park earlier in the month .One of kimconyc pics made PCad look a little heavy which we all know must have been the camera's fault .

See post # 1614 in this thread. Admittedly, you stated "when I was ten pounds lighter", not that you had gained ten pounds.
