Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

My Cervelo makes clicky clack noises in the humid weather. I'll track it down eventually. Or by the time I get back from Europe it won't be so muggy and the bike will quiet down.

Those Cervelos are nice, but let's face it, they're no Scott.

Wait, there wasn't any 33/41 with the bike arrival obsession. That's all on Jen.

I thought the Cervelo would be the end all and be all of bikes for you. Do you use it to hang dry your cycling kit now?

Love the Cervelo. Love the Scott. Love the Slice. Love the Ibis. Love the Fly Ti MTB.

It's an embarrassment of Bike Weenie Riches. But as you may have noticed, Pcad does not embarrass easily.

Is it cool water? It's kind of warm here.

So are you going to go there and stand by the door, pedal in each hand?

Well, I've managed to find a friendly guy at the LBS. He's off today but lives down the street. He's going to check on it around 1:30 and call me. He said if it's in, he'll go in to work and start building it up. I'm carrying a baggie of pedals in my purse for today.

That's very nice of him. Add a goodie or 2 into that bag for that nice man.

Jen, when your shoe is clipped into the pedal, does any part of the shoe actually touch the pedal?
