Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

It's being built now.

On a positive note: I'm not paying MSRP, and they said don't worry about bottle cages. Woo hoo!

typical bike shop...you have to realize that there is NOBODY in the world as excited about your bike as you, it's frustrating but it's the truth. it's even more painful dealing with high volume shops cause even though you might be a cutie to them your just money in the bank.

this is why i work on my own bikes, cause even with the good mechanics nobody cares about your bike or your safety as much as you do/ should.

did they build it up for you?

At least they have proven their complete incompetence to me. I'm going to throw some water in their faces.

It's being built now. Because god forbid they had started building it before I called to remind them that someone wants to buy the friggin bike!

actually i love seeing new bikes being unveiled here. there used to be a lot more, "here's my new bike" type threads. i love ride reports. seeing where people ride in all sorts of beautiful locations is the highlight of BF.

There was no better feeling as a kid than getting a new bike.

Those are my favorite threads as well.

A perfectly good slow day at the office. A lot of paper shuffling going on, which is exactly what I needed.
