But I'm no Wussy. |
I changed my chain today. I didn't record when my last change was, but it might have been 8,000 or 9,000 miles ago.
The chain was a little bit over 1/16" long, but my initial test (light ride up the street) suggests that the cassette is still OK. This is my first time using a Wippermann chain. |

So if some of you 41ers want to come up here for a ride one of these Sundays or Saturdays I could accommodate you, if I'm not racing. Maybe a 50 mile ride, then maybe some BBQ. A mini Mt. Doom BBQ, limited to 5 or 6 of you guys. I don't need Doomstock. Hell, I should charge you peons for a Pcad Seminar. Maybe $100 each, but that would include the BBQ and all the Diet Orange Soda you can drink. My house is 40 minutes north of Paramus, it's all highway. Kimco we could figure out a way to get you back and forth too if you're sans car. Maybe ride up to Ft. Lee and hook up with jorge.
I think that could be fun. |

My Slice TT bike felt really dialed in today. Far more comfortable on it than I have ever been, position still looks aero, I think I'm good to go. That only took 2+ years. It's pretty cool when you hunker down on the aero armrests because it's actually more comfy than the cow horns. That's the whole friggin idea.

Hey Pcad, why are there runescape ads on here now?

OK. But now you're stalkng me. And that question sounds utterly Gay. But I don't mind. I'm a Democrat.
The first sign of Caligula-esque behavior and I'll be on my way thanks. |
The new chain seemed fine. If Wippermanns indeed last longer than Shimanos, I wonder how long I can run this baby?
Maybe I'll set a new BikeForums chain endurance record. |
