I'm midpack at this point. I ended up shadowing the lead rider in this pic. I think I finished top 10. Dunno yet, havent seen the results.
The lead rider in this pic finished, at at the finish line slowed, and promptly fell on his ass.

***** UPDATE 03/28/2010 *****
Here are pictures from today's Master's race featuring some of the Brauer - Mick Management Team (the team gsteinb and Pcad ride for) and a picture of Pcad before he hacked up a lung (this could have been a secret strategy to get the competition out of their element for next week)...

I decided to ride out to Nyack but was unsure because it looked like it might rain...

After watching part of the races in Prospect Park and heading into the city, I hooked up with a group and had some dessert for brunch in Tenafly, NJ.
Then, somehow, I ended up in Nyack; I always end up there one way or another for some reason--most people do.
My regular riding buddies were at the Runcible Spoon (coffee shop in Nyack) b.s.'ing about whether or not Lance is doped. After a few laughs I just rode back to Brooklyn with them.
My friend, Darth Vader. Notice he doesn't ride with any drinks on board--proof that you will NOT die if you don't eat or drink every 5 minutes...

Getting ready to leave the Runcible.

It started to rain on the way back and since this was not supposed to be a photo ride report--those are usually solo because there is no stopping on a bike normally, unless I am in a Tom Simpson-like situation--those are the only pictures for today.
Hope you enjoyed.

Yes, he only has a single, 63t cf-chainring on the front, I think either a 19 or 21 on the back, with a 180mm crank. I don't think I would be able to turn that crank over, even on the flats...

so this Nyack myth that pcad tries to perpetuate, can kimconyc confirm it is as big a deal as pcad makes out?

Nyack is a nice town, close to NYC, and many famous people live in or near there. It is also the weekend destination of choice for most NYC cyclists. Not sure that's the stuff of mythology though.

hey pcad
what is your strategy for preventing such a team member from being lured away by other teams?
