record and centaur compatibility
Hi,
would like to ask whether record 10speed rear derailluer can be use together with the centaur 10 speed 2009 shifters? Any issue with it?
another question would be the old centaur rear derailleur(2008) can fit the 2009 centaur shifter?
Thanks in advance.

Yes, the Record RD is compatible with the 2009 Centaur shifter.
And the 2008 Centaur RD will work with the 2009 Centaur shifter.
Somewhere around 08 or 09, Centaur RDs used a "weak" return spring for softer shifting; when used with the wrong shifters, imprecise shifting can result. That shouldn't be an issue here but you might ask about it on the Bicycle Mechanics forum.
