Forte Pedals?
Anybody have experience with the Forte Carbon Pedals? I'm looking to buy pedals in the $100 range. I've looked at some of the Keo Sprint or Time RXS Speed and they look good but these look like they might be worth checking out. I know Forte is PB's house brand but have never used anything they make. Thoughts?

I actually asked the guys at performance about this a couple days ago (should I get the Forte Carbons or the Look Keo's?). They said the Forte pedals actually seem to work better with the Look cleats, but they basically said to go with whichever is cheaper, it wasn't a big difference.

I have 3 sets of fortes, but the metal ones not carbon. They are fine.
However I expect the look keo's are better, if you can cough up the extra coin I say go for the keos.

I've had three sets of Fortes, and they all sucked. Worked fine out of the box, but couldn't handle big stress well. The 2nd two pairs were warranty (I only ever paid for one set). Eventually I took the last set back for store credit.

I have had the best luck with the Keo Sprint pedals from Chain Reaction Cycles, usually around $85. I know it's France, but ...

Forte anything hasn't been too satisfying for me. The tubes aren't the greatest and kind of steered me away from Forte anything. Like everyone says... they'll serve their purpose for the time being but just don't be surprised if the longevity isn't there.
Personally, I just picked up a set of Ultegra 6700. It was this or the Looks...
