Why are you comparing a bike with Tiagra to another with Rival? That doesn't really make much sense. Also only the rear triangle on the Six is carbon, rest is alu cept for the fork. Geometries will be both aggressive with the Six and CAAD9.

He's not comparing the bike, components etc. If you notice he's concern about the different frames, probably goint to build it up.

Ahh... An LBS once told me that a Six is just a CAAD9 with carbon rear. Haven't been able to see a Six and CAAD9 next to each other to compare side by side though.

I love fools that say the CAAD9 is good only for crits. Sure I rode mine in a crit last night, but last weekend I rode it in a century on saturday followed by a 3 hour group ride Sunday. This weekend I will race it again but the following week I will ride it 200+ miles of gravel/ limestone while pulling a trailer full of beer, food and a tent (For this trip I am cheating and running 32 tires (yes they fit fine)).
Again, If the ride is too stiff, let 5 PSI out. problem solved.

Not that there's anything wrong with the Six, but there's nothing special about it either. It's Cannondale's entry level carbon frame, asian made (not that there's anything wrong with that). If you're considering the Six, why not test ride some comparable bikes from other manufacturers (Giant, Felt, Fuji, etc.).
It's believed that this will be the last US made CAAD9. The CAAD series used to be at the top of Cannondale's lineup, now that everyone's gone carbon-crazy it's a very light frame at an affordable price.
The most important thing is what feels better to you though. Ride them both, ride some other bikes, and see which one you like best.
