Nice bike, nice technology. Oh well. $$$$$$$$$$$ is the only thing holding the poor guy up.
Looks like my 2006 Spec. Roubaix Al/carbon stays will be the highest tech I 'll be able to afford.
$6000 and up! I'll take the red and black.

Your one chance to see it in yellow. Yes, it's still ugly.

Bicycling magazine: "There was no perceptible sway to the frame and a welcome absence of road noise. Comfort was paramount, but not at the cost of stiffness."
How many ways can they churn out their standard "laterally stiff yet vertically compliant" review?
Bicycling really is a useless rag.

Whilst the red lugs are a bit in your face I think that the real stand out thing about this is the engineering process. The Imperfect is the start...thats what we have to remember. As articles have said this will trickle down into the companies other frames. This much more accurate than layup for creating tubes.
I love the jigs used for assembly a bike built by engineers. Go Ti for your work of art, the Impec is all about repitition and manufacturing tolerance. Humans are still involved but just to move bits around...hmmm the future??

I want to like it, especially since I don't want to seem biased since I opted for a Pro Machine, but ICK! From an asthetics standpoint, those clamshell lugs in the accent color is hideous, especially against the carbon weave. Even in all black they're pretty ugly. I'll assume the engineers know what they're doing though and the thing is a stiff yet compliant rocket. In the end, it's about the ride, not the looks.
