Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Low Stack Height Shoe

I have always used Diadora Cosmos. They are a cheaper 3 strip velcro show that I am totally accustomed to. I tried some specialized shows last season that had too high of a stack height and it screwed my whole position up. I am looking for a low stack height shoe that is not going to break the bank..........

Mavic shoes have a very low stack height. 5.5mm on the ones I got. I just got a pair, and coming from Shimano shoes, it was a noticeable difference. I actually dropped my saddle height a tiny bit.

Bikes: Motobecane Grand Record, Motobecane Phantom Cross

Pearl Izumi has their PRO RD II shoe that has a pretty low stack height. Never liked the way Pearl's shoes felt though.
