Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Aside from my vintage early 80's (and a few others like it), I've only seen one new Viner on the road. These are high end bikes mind you, still owned and operated by Viviano Nerozzi's family.

Renovo? not sure if they would be considered high end or just more of a novelty but they look interesting. Never seen one in person

Just sold one. I will miss it. It went to a forum member so at least it's next owner is an enthusiast.

Wojcik, not Wojick.

How about Batavus? I've seen their bikes on some of the smaller euro races so they're at least big enough to sponsor a pro level team.

I noticed that Speedvagen wasn't on that list

custom, hand-built, gorgeous - and a minimum five year waiting list (they only built 30 road bikes this year)
https://farm5.static.flickr.com/4038/...83ddb524ef.jpg

There's a number of brands that people have listed that I really wouldn't consider high-end.
Surly is one of them. They are good bikes but they aren't high-end. A high-end bike I would expect to pay, starting price, $3k+ for. Not a single Surly comes close to that.

A number of these brands do have models that reach that level but their primary sellers are half that price. I wouldn't consider them high-end brands.

What is the criteria that is being used to grade the brands?
I consider a combination of the following:
1) price point of their baseline model
2) quality of their baseline model
3) quantity made in a year
4) resale value
5) hand vs machine made
6) are they a specialist brand or do they make bikes for every purpose under the sun

with this in mind looking at the OP's listL
high-end = BMC, Cervelo
the others listed (Specialized, etc.) are not

call me crazy, but I always though that being unique should require more leg work than starting a thread on the internet.

I currently have the Cube Streamer. I have not seen a better deal yet with the components that came on this bike. This bike cost about $1,200 after the VAT was taken off and with the current exchange rates. Not sure if anyone is carrying them in the States yet. Currently stationed in Germany and will be heading back Stateside in a few weeks.

is it an attempt at acquiring a unique bike or just trying to figure out what other options are out there beyond what is readily available in most bike shops?

did the OP ever say what their motivation was for getting this info?
